I won’t try to start with a nice, clever introduction because I simply don’t have one. Or maybe I could’ve started with the good old: “We live in a world where…” but nah. That’s not one of those blog post. (Plus I’ve used that phrase way too many times already!)
So this is your not so gentle but necessary reminder that you need to be very mindful of the activities that you allow to keep you in a constant state of [busy]ness.
You could be doing a lot and collecting all kind of medals of productivity. You could have success as the world perceives it but as far as destiny is concerned you might not be making any real advances.
At this point some of you might have realised it but I still want to give you a clear disclaimer that I’m talking from a Christian standpoint.
So yeah. One of the questions that you need to ask yourself if you really are where God needs you to be, doing what you need to be doing in that specific season of your life.
Surely, hard work does pay off and your work might be positively impacting hundreds and thousands but if for example you are not giving enough attention to the 2 or 3 people that were supposed to be your personal assignment, you might be on the sidewalk of the road of your destiny when in your head you think you are on the highway going full speed ahead.
Doing a lot of things that make you feel important or even get you praised is not necessarily a sign of purpose fulfilment
And last but not least, please remember that rest is part of the plan. God really factored the times of breaks into the divine timing of your life. You might be going in the right direction but are you keeping the adequate pace aka God’s pace? Anyway, that’s a whole subject for another blog post, talk to you soon friends!
